Anti reflective glass, also known as high anti reflective coated glass, is a type of glass with a transmittance of over 80% and a reflectance of less than 3%. Its main function is to reduce or eliminate the reflected light on the glass surface and improve the transparency of the glass. The processing principle is to coat a special chemical film layer on the surface of the glass to reduce the reflectivity of the glass surface, improve the transmittance of sunlight, and give the glass a good visual perspective effect, making the displayed items in the window more colorful and the picture clearer. At present, anti reflective glass is mainly used in high-end display windows, airport tower glass, observation hall glass, frame glass, and museum display cabinet glass that require the elimination of glass reflection.

CHINA GARDEN MUSEUM

The China Garden Museum is the first national level museum in China with the theme of gardens. It is an international garden culture center that collects historical relics of gardens, promotes traditional Chinese culture, showcases the charm of garden art, and studies the value of gardens. It comprehensively displays the long history, splendid culture, diverse functions, and brilliant achievements of Chinese gardens.

Mr. Kan Sanxi, an international level master of micro carving, showcased his exquisite carving skills in a large frameless display cabinet at the National Garden Museum in 2017. The cabinet measures 5m x 5m and is made of anti reflective laminated glass provided by China Southern Glass Group. The outstanding visual perspective effect of the product perfectly showcases Mr. Kan's superb carving skills in front of people.

PALACE MUSEUM CLOCK HALL

·Project Introduction:

The Clock and Watch Hall of the Palace Museum is located in the Fengxian Hall of the Forbidden City. It was renovated and completed in January 2019, presenting a brand new appearance to the audience. The New Watch Museum currently displays 82 exquisite watches from the collection of the Palace Museum, including 21 Chinese watches and 61 foreign watches.

In order to highlight the subjectivity of clocks and watches in this exhibition, a large area of colored spray paint was used on the display cabinet glass. The use of anti reflective laminated glass by China Southern Glass Group greatly reduced the reflection of indoor light, allowing visitors to appreciate the exhibits more clearly and appreciate the superb craftsmanship of domestic and foreign clocks and watches more than a hundred years ago.

NATIONAL MARINE MUSEUM

The National Marine Museum is China's first national, comprehensive, and public welfare marine museum, located in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin. The museum showcases the natural and cultural history of the ocean, becoming a platform for ocean technology exchange and a landmark cultural facility that integrates functions such as collection and protection, educational display, scientific research, communication and dissemination, tourism and sightseeing.

The National Ocean Museum used anti reflective laminated glass products supplied by China Southern Glass Group. The project was completed in March 2019, and Southern Glass products provided excellent performance to support the construction of the National Ocean Museum.

SHANGHAI MUSEUM

The Currency Museum of Shanghai Museum has nearly 7000 exhibits and cultural relics, showcasing the historical overview of the birth, development, and economic and cultural exchanges of Chinese currency between China and foreign countries.

The project was launched in April 2019. In order to highlight the double-sided display effect of the coin exhibits, China Southern Glass Group's 1.8mm double-sided anti reflective glass products were used at the exhibition, reducing the reflectivity to within 1%. In addition, 6mm anti reflective sandwich display cabinets were used to allow visitors to see the exhibits more clearly through the glass and restore their appearance.
