Can the future residential buildings built with smart glass capture the market?

The Photon Project, a British startup, has launched the "Photon Space" project, which aims to build the world's first futuristic home entirely made of smart glass.

Given the significant positive benefits of natural light on our energy levels, sleep patterns, and overall health, the goal of 'Photon Space' is to create a new type of residential space that allows residents to have maximum connectivity with the outside world.

The "Photon Space" can become an ideal accessory building for hotels, spas, health resorts, medical centers, and other resorts, with its exterior "skin" composed of smart glass supported by curved glass beams. With the help of iPhone applications, the smart glass can switch from transparent to opaque state in just one second.

The coating used in the smart glass of "Photon Space" can partially block infrared rays and completely block ultraviolet rays, thereby reducing the amount of solar energy absorbed by the house and avoiding any harm to residents caused by excessive exposure to sunlight.

In addition, the glass of the "Photon Space" can be dimmed during the day, which means residents can adjust their biological clock and help international tourists overcome time differences, reducing the impact time from one week to one day.

Charlie Sharman, General Manager of the Photon Project, explained, "After five years of research and advancements in glass technology, we are thrilled to be able to build this revolutionary housing. As a professional team in the glass and construction industries, we are eager to bring it to market
